Visiting 28 ports in 18 different countries, Princess Cruises’ first ever circumnavigation of South America is a comprehensive tour of the enigmatic and diverse continent. The 84-night cruise aboard the Sea Princess also includes three overnight stays in Buenos Aires, Lima and Rio de Janeiro – the last just in time for Carnivale.

Guests can join the cruise in Sydney, Brisbane or Auckland, before the ship makes it way to South America, and interested parties have a little time to save up for the trip which departs in January 2017.

The Princess Cruises team have spent five years developing and orchestrating the hugely detailed, epic itinerary – helping guests enjoy a unique visit to South America. The itinerary sails from Brisbane on 8 January 2017, from Sydney on 11 January 2017 and Auckland four days later. Offering roundtrips to each of the ports, the itineraries from each city are 89, 84 and 76 nights respectively.

Before arriving in South America, the cruise also takes in a number of the islands of the South Pacific including Tonga and American Samoa.

The cruise line has invested significant time, funds and efforts in creating long itineraries with their 2016/17 programme, set to also offer a 48-night voyage from England to Australia – visiting mainland Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The trip is serving as a repositioning cruise for the Emerald Princess, which will spend its first ever season Down Under in Sydney.

Princess Cruises have more ships based out of Australia than ever before, dedicating five full time ships to the region. Sailing out of Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Auckland – Princess Cruises’ Australian capacity is larger than ever before.

The itinerary sails from Brisbane on 8 January 2017, from Sydney on 11 January 2017 and Auckland four days later. Offering roundtrips to each of the ports, the itineraries from each city are 89, 84 and 76 nights respectively.
