Australia’s First Four-Day Music Festival Cruise Announced

0

Australia’s first ever four day music festival held on a cruise ship has been announced, with Sea N Beats due to take place on 5 March 2016. Sailing from Brisbane to Mystery Island off the Queensland coast and back again, the ship will play host to seven stages and the ‘hottest names in electronic and dance music from all over Australia.’

With more than a year until the launch of the festival, the line-up is still to be finalised but the organisers are promising the event will provide a completely unique experience in the Southern Hemisphere. Signing up to the mailing list on the official website can grant you access to up-to-date artist announcements and ticket pre-sales.

The event kicks off immediately after the ship pulls out of port with a ‘Sail Away’ party to get all guests in the mood for four days of partying. Day 2 will include the visit to mystery island in the morning. Guests are invited to disembark the ship where the party will continue on shore with a selection of adrenaline-pumping activities. The Island Festival will play throughout the day until embarkation just before sunset, with the festival continuing throughout the ship’s many stages.

The third day will be completely at sea, with a huge range of DJs playing throughout the day and night before disembarkation on the morning of day 4.

A ticket to the Sea N Beats festival grants you access to a 3 night stay in a selected cabin, access to watch all artists and all meals throughout the festival.

The festival has been announced following the success of November’s ‘It’s The Ship’ festival held between Singapore and Australia aboard Royal Caribbean’s Voyager of the Seas. Although primarily targeted at an Asian audience, a large Australian contingency made their way onto the ship for the festival and music.
