Silversea Asia Pacific Adventures

All-inclusive, smaller ship, luxury cruising:

Silversea Cruises have just released their 2012/13 Asia Pacific brochure featuring Silver Shadow and Silver Whisper for sailings between September and May.

There’s plenty of offers with all inclusive fares from US$3,299 per person which includes on-board spending credit of US$1,500 per suite.  This can be used in the spa, on shore excursions, in the amazing speciality restaurants, or the on-board boutique stores.

The advantage of their smaller ships is they can venture into areas and ports that the larger vessels can’t contemplate.  They have over 20 new and exciting itineraries to tempt you with something for everyone.  There are 7 to 21 day cruises going to ports such as Vietman, China and Indonesia that give you the opportunity to overnight in exotic places such as Shanghai, Ho Chi Minh City, Tokyo, Singapore, Bangkok and Hong Kong.

A couple of trips that really stand out are the 14 day cruise that leaves Sydney on 1st February 2013 on Silver Shadow.  Could you ask for a more romantic valentine gift than arrival at Bali on 14th February?

Leaving from Papeete, Tahiti on 16th January, the 18 day cruise on board Silver Whisper takes in New Zealand and the very best of the Pacific Islands whilst on its way to Sydney for 4th February.

Silver Whisper and Silver Shadow are fully fitted with many of the luxuries that you’d expect on larger ships such as a wellness spa, fitness centre, beauty salon and even a multi-tiered show lounge which holds full scale productions on the journey.  There’s an internet café for those that can’t stay away from the web and a full WiFi service throughout the ship.

In addition to the fantastic facilities on board, passengers can take a wide range of Land Adventures before, after or during the cruise.  Again these are pretty far from the normal offerings, with trips to Cambodia, the temples of Angkor Wat, the ancient capital of Japan, Kyoto and the chance to have a chat with the Chengdu Pandas whilst you are there.  For the first time, a trip has been organized to the site of the ancient Myanmar which is an unforgettable experience not to be missed.

The luxury all inclusive packages that Silversea offer covers all-suite accommodation, the services of a butler whilst on board, gourmet meals, complimentary wine, spirits and champagne through the voyage and even covers the gratuities.
