Royal Caribbean is once again awarded the Travel Weekly Readers Choice Award

It’s been another fantastic year for Royal Caribbean and the cruise line has once again been awarded the Best Cruise Line Overall as part of the Travel Weekly Readers Choice Awards.

These annual awards are decided by the readers of Travel Weekly themselves, who had the difficult task of picking a winner in each of the 59 categories of the award. This included airline, car, rail, hospitality, GDS, theme park sectors, tour, cruise, and many more. Only the companies which were deemed to have provided the best product and service during the year are given an award. Within what is always a competitive cruise field, it is an amazing achievement that Royal Caribbean has been awarded the Best Cruise Line award for the tenth consecutive year! But Royal Caribbean also managed to scoop some other awards too. They won Best in Sales & Service and came at the top of the Caribbean and Domestic US categories. A gala dinner in New York City’s Plaza Hotel was held to celebrate all the lucky winners of the Readers Choice Awards.

“We are honored to be chosen again as the Best Cruise Line Overall by Travel Weekly readers – now for 10 straight years”

“We are also grateful to the travel agent community for voting us the best in Sales & Service for a fifth year in a row. This recognition reflects our ongoing Royal is Loyal to You Always commitment, where we strive every day to better support and empower our valued travel agent partners.”

— Vicki Freed, senior vice president of Sales, Trade Support and Services, Royal Caribbean International.

These newest achievements add to a growing list of awards for Royal Caribbean. In 2012 they were also awarded Africa’s leading cruise line, Indian Ocean’s leading line, the Middle East and North America too! Royal Caribbean will surely be looking to replicate this success in 2013 and scoop even more coveted awards.
