About Princess Cruises
Princess Cruises was established in 1965 by Stanley McDonald. Its first purpose-built cruise ship, Princess Italia, was also one of the first to implement a range of modern safety features, including lifeboats mounted lower on the ship (leaving the decks clear) and rear-mounted engines (leaving more room for guests).
To this day, Princess Cruises aims to give its guests the very best comfort and service at all times. Its two new ships, Royal Princess and Regal Princess – due for launch in 2013 and 2014 respectively – are sure to carry on its reputation as one of the world’s finest cruise lines.
Princess cruise ships
