P&O Australia to expand its cruises from South and Western Australia during 2014-15

Some great news for P&O Australia fans: the cruise line has announced an expansion of its services for 2014-15.

During the 2014-15 cruise season, P&O Australia will offer roundtrip cruises from Adelaide for the first time onboard Pacific Jewel.  This move will allow more travellers to enjoy the fantastic Australian scenery in the comfort of one of P&O’s luxury cruise ships.

Specifically, as part of this expansion, Pacific Jewel will undertake eight cruises during 2015 from Western Australia, marking the first occasion that P&O has had a ship in Perth since the final departure of its ship Pacific Sun from the region in 2011. So, passengers will be able to enjoy a range of new cruise options, including a fantastic voyage to Indonesia via Lombok, Bail and Komodo Island. Another equally exciting trip is a wonderful 14 night cruise, leaving from Fremantle, and calling at Indonesia, Brunei, Malaysia and Vietnam.

Two different roundtrip cruises area are also planned for South Australia. These will sail to Tasmania and Victoria from Adelaide and will be nine night long in total.

P&O will also be putting on an extended Melbourne cruise season during 2015. This will encompass five cruises, some of which will also be travelling to South Australian and Tasmania. In addition, the ship, Pacific Dawn, will be sailing on more Papua New Guinea voyages, and will also be sailing on a fantastic fourteen night cruises, which include new stops at the ports of Madang, Kavieng and Rabaul.

Finally, the 2014-15 cruise programme will also involve an Australia Day event, which will involve three of P&O’s ships stationed in Sydney Harbour.
