2550-passenger megaliner “Orchestra” will be first ship from MSC’s fleet to sail in Australian waters

Orchestra will visit thirteen ports in eight different countries, including six in Australia during 2015. The visit to Australian shores forms part of a 33-day sailing from Dubai, which kicks off on 21st February 2015.

This debut is exciting news for passengers who love MSC’s luxury liners and want to visit Australia’s golden beaches. It’s also great news for Australian cruise fans who want to visit Asia and explore more of their own country.

Orchestra’s itinerary:

After departing from Dubai, MSC Orchestra will travel through India, Sri Lanka and several Asian ports, visiting Mumbai, Cochin, Colombo, Phuket, Langkawi, Singapore and Bali before arriving in Australia.

When in Australian waters, the ship will visit Cairns, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Fremantle. The journey will end at the latter port on 26th of March 2015.

Speaking about the company’s debut in Australia, Lynne Clark, the company’s managing director for the region said:

“I will be equally excited for our loyal passengers to have the chance to see the cruise ship in their home waters.”

She added:

“MSC Orchestra will have an extended stay in Sydney allowing the passengers ample time to tour, shop and even see the Blue Mountains on an excursion.”

It is expected that Australian prices will start at $3,299ppts for an inside cabin and increase up to $5,499pp for a suite. Ocean view and balcony cabins will also be available on this voyage.
