This year, MSC Cruises will be host to a range of exciting trips around Europe, Africa and North America – and Cruise 1st has a number of great deals.

Take a look at our range of MSC cruises here – or keep reading to find out what this great cruise line has to offer.

About MSC cruises

MSC cruises started life under the name of Lauro Lines, named after its founder Achille Lauro. After a string of unfortunate incidents, one of which involved the Achille Lauro cruise ship catching fire and sinking, the cruise line was renamed MSC cruises.

It’s now the fourth largest cruise line in the world, behind Carnival, Royal Carribean and Norwegian Cruise Line. It carried 6% of the world’s cruise passengers in 2012.

MSC has become known for its stylish Italian designs and great service. But that doesn’t mean it costs the Earth. There are prices to cater for a range of budgets, and all children under the age of 18 will travel for free (paying port charges only).

MSC currently operates 12 ships – four in the ‘Lirica’ class, four in the ‘Musica’ class and four ‘Fantasia’ class. It has branded its fleet of cruise ships “the most modern fleet in the world”.
