Dawn Princess cruise ship guide

0

Based in Australia all year round, Dawn Princess offers cruise trips in style around some of the most beautiful sights the Australian coast, New Zealand and the South Pacific islands have to offer.

You’ll be at home on board whether you’re the kind of person who prefers to relax, or someone who likes a little more excitement. And the ship has a bit of a romantic reputation too, for those couples looking for a cosy getaway.

You can see our trips on board Dawn Princess for 2013 and 2014 here.

Relaxation, activities and amenities

When it comes to taking it easy, Dawn Princess has it covered. First there’s the Lotus Spa, where you can enjoy a number of relaxing treatments. There are also several pools and hot tubs on board, and the adults-only outdoor retreat The Sanctuary.

And there’s plenty to keep the blood pumping, too – like the fully-featured fitness centre with weights and cardio-vascular equipment, and the sports court.

You can also enjoy a bit of culture – there’s a world-class art gallery, a library & writing room and even auctions that take place on board.

There’s also a huge range to choose from when it comes to dining, whether you’re looking for something traditional, casual or something a little more special. The Florentine and Venetian Dining Rooms both offer great traditional food, while the Sterling Steakhouse is one for the gourmets. But if you just feel like sitting down and relaxing while you eat, perhaps the Horizon Court buffet or La Scala pizzeria might be more to your taste.
