Cruise Holiday Travel Guide: Bodrum

0

There are many reasons why Bodrum is one of Turkey’s most popular holiday resorts. There’s simply something for everyone, whether you want to relax or party the night away.

And you could visit Bodrum for less than you might expect as part of one of our Mediterranean, Europe or Greece cruise deals. Check out some of the latest deals on cruises visiting Bodrum here, or read on to find out what you can see and do while you’re there.

About Bodrum

Bodrum is located towards the south-west coast of Turkey, putting it within easy access of various Greek islands. As such it’s a destination on several of our cruises around Greece and parts of the Mediterranean.

Many parts of Bodrum would be considered ‘party town’, but there are plenty of quieter parts to visit.

A top attraction for many people is Bodrum castle, which was built by the Knights Hospitaller in the 15th Century. It’s ideally located next to the harbour and marina, making for a great day out all round. There’s also an underwater museum immediately next door to the castle.

If you’re visiting with a family (or just like a splash around), then make sure you visit the aqua park, with thrilling rides like the Black Hole and the Kamikaze.

And shopping addicts won’t be disappointed here in Bodrum – from the large Oasis shopping centre to the many small shops on the cobbled streets.

Cruise lines currently visiting Bodrum include Seabourn and Royal Caribbean Cruises.
