Royal Caribbean has completed another fantastic renovation of one of its cruise ships, Serenade of the Seas.

Serenade of the SeasThe renovation of Serenade is part of Royal Caribbean’s extensive revitalization program which has already seen several of its ships renovated in a multi-million dollar operation. The essence of this revitalization program is to take the best and most popular features on the cruise line and to roll these out throughout all the ships. A range of new restaurants, bars and activities have already been installed on other ships and in this sense Royal is gradually revamping its entire fleet.

The renovations undertaken on Serenade of the Seas cost $29 million dollars and took three weeks to complete. The revamp was extensive and is certain to increase passenger satisfaction and hopefully bring more holidaymakers to Royal Caribbean. Many of the new features and activities now installed on Serenade of the Seas were taken from the ship Oasis of the Seas

So, for those are looking forward to fine dining while away on holiday, you’ll be in luck on the revamped Serenade of the Seas. Following the renovations there is nearly double the amount of places to dine. As a passenger you have the choice of some fantastic places, including Giovanni’s Table, where you can relax in a romantic atmosphere and sample delicious Italian cuisine from a wide-ranging menu. For those who like Asian cuisine, Izumi Asian Cuisine, serves up authentic Japanese food which is not only healthy, but seriously delicious. Other great restaurants onboard include Rita’s Cantina, Park Café, and the exclusive Chef’s Table, a private dining experience with paired wines to your order.

The bars and entertainment renovations are just as exciting. Passengers onboard Serenade of the Seas will be able to experience the new and transformed Centrum. This public space hosts a range of great activities, such as the R-Bar which is themed on the 1960s. However, what’s even more special and certain to delight both adults and kids, is that if you look above you in the Centrum, you’ll see high-flying acts and aerialists performing different shows and spectacles!

Other features on the ship include a nursery and a traditional Crown and Castle pub. Suite guests will be able to take advantage of the Concierge Club, which gives a dedicated concierge service to make sure that your needs are met quickly. And in order to more easily keep in touch with the outside world, passengers will be able to use the ship’s Wi-Fi. Finally, other new and modern technologies have been incorporated into staterooms, such as flat screen TVs, enhancing your stay even further.
