The Scoop on P&O’s Latest Fleet Members

P&O has exciting prospects on the horizon, with two new ships set to join the fleet at the end of this year. Cruising over from Holland America will be Pacific Aria and the Pacific Eden, currently operating as Ryndam and Statendam.

“Pacific Aria and Pacific Eden represent the next generation of P&O ships inspired by modern Australia. The new onboard features will drastically change the overall look and feel of our ships. It will be a relaxed vibe, casual enough to bring the sand in from the beach but with a touch of sophistication that will feel luxurious and indulgent,” says P&O Cruises senior vice president Sture Myrmell.

  • Salt Grill – Dreamt up by celebrity chef Luke Mangan, Salt Grill is a specialty restaurant serving up a menu of delicious gourmet fare.
  • Ocean Bar – With ultra-plush lounges, stylish décor and , Ocean Bar is a fabulous place for a relaxing glass of wine.
  • The Blue Room – Inspired by the underground vibes of a New Orleans ‘speakeasy’ The Blue Room will play host to live jazz, funk and RnB tunes.
  • The Chef’s Table – While all P&O ships feature exclusive Chef’s Tables, Aria and Eden will up the ante with a seriously sumptuous experience.
  • Penthouse suites – both ships will undergo luxurious revamps and the addition of several penthouse suites boasting floor to ceiling windows, private spas and walk in robes.
  • Oasis – for the ultimate in adults-only bliss Oasis is a haven of hanging chairs, cushioned day beds, sheer curtains and a stunning resort style pool.
  • The Pantry Food Market – Instead of a buffet, passengers will be invited to hit up the Pantry Food Market which is packed full of gourmet treats.
